Consistent principles of freedom of belief & speech requires that CRT be neither banned nor enforced. Schools that have classes on politics & philosophy should teach kids about Critical Social Justice alongside liberalism, Marxism, conservatism etchttps://twitter.com/TailedFeature/status/1390433969615876099 …

Banning it only makes it forbidden fruit It should be discussed extensively and regularly dissected and thoroughly discredited in full view

Pardon me, but aren't they banning the forceful adoption of its precepts instead? There is a difference

I think in this case, CSJ is quite the 'hot topic', so spending time on it in school is not necessarily a bad thing. But only in the sense of "There are people out there who think the world works like this".

In the UK National Action and it's various demented tentacles are on the proscribed list. You get up to ten years in prison for producing and passing around it's literature. No one is campaigning for them not to be banned. They are less dangerous in modern times than CRT.

American K-12 schools are failing at teaching mathematics, English, science and history. It's impractical & foolhardy to entrust them to teach politics and philosophy in the inclusive, unbiased way Helen Pluckrose suggests, especially with taxpayer dollars.

It might be, yes. That's why I said 'Schools that have classes on politics or philosophy" so that I didn't imply they should have them. I don't work in schools so I don't know what other subjects would have to be reduced to allow for this & whether that would be worthwhile.

School should be about empirical truths, they rest is leisure time learning.
