Yes. They don't put that front-and-center very often, but that's the solution that Cheryl Harris and others have posited. Even Kendi is explicit that "antiracism" requires "anticapitalism"—and economic equity would require public control of wealth and race-based redistribution.

This could only be *fully* accomplished through direct taxation of individuals and corporations. That doesn't seem likely to me. America would split up into pieces if that were ever attempted.

I see the wealth redistribution as more indirect, in that they make wealth acquisition/success more difficult for members of the 'oppressor' group even as they make it easier for those in the 'oppressed' group via programs of discrimination as opposed to taxation.

There is an economic redistribution aspect to equity (enforced equality of outcome). The ends are similar to Marxism even though their underlying philosophy is largely divorced from it.
