In Saucilito almost everyone outside on the street wheres masks. In Laguna Beach more people don't than do. I wonder what shapes the culture of these things.
Partisan density. From my recent travel, I've seen high rates of mask adoption in the big cities, moderate in the suburbs, and low in the rural areas. Layering on top of this, high rates in blue states, lower rates in red states overall.
