I'm against states limiting what local school districts can teach, even if it's critical race theory. These bills are antithetical to maximizing freedom and democracy. This is exactly right. And even if several red states limit CRT in schools, it will be a drop in the bucket compared to the wave of CRT overtaking schools, universities, culture & workplaces in the most populous & influential parts of the country.

Personal example: My hometown now has a CRT-friendly high school social studies curriculum. If you drive more than 20 miles from us in any direction, you are not going to see that same curriculum in schools because those other districts don't want it. That's how it should work.
