Fair. Maybe not apples to apples, but I suspect a similar dynamic in most suburbs.

My brief stints in the suburbs as an adult were ones in which people mostly didn’t interact and have to drive to grab a random item from the store. Did not enjoy. On the flip side, it’s still a bit slow for me personally, but my stint in Charlottesville (a small town) was lovely.
