This is a major step forward. Texas is a flagship conservative state and model for legislatures across the country. If we pass this bill, we will protect millions of families from critical race theory and inspire other states to take action. Let's go, @TPPF and @russvought!

What is the punishment for violating the standard? Would teachers who break the law lose their jobs? Would they be personally liable for civil damages if sued by parents?

The three things that have given me a new lease on life and you are trying to get rid of them. 1. Race essentialism 2. Collective guilt 3. Neo-segregation For the first time I am trying to be a part of something bigger than myself and you are getting in the way. Thanks Chris!

What's going to happen as state curriculums become more & more opposite to eachother in regards to social & cultural issues? It appears that the division train is still chugging along at full speed. This will not end well, & will make society a less enjoyable place to live.

Much as I appreciate the dangers of using CRT as the only lens for viewing society, banning it is not the answer. It's censorship. Here's a piece I wrote with
@DavidLBernstein and@truth_inbetween proposing a third way for CRT in schools:https://www.realcleareducation.com/articles/2021/03/29/a_third_way_on_the_place_of_critical_race_theory_in_the_classroom_110556.html … -
Public schools should not promote the values of race essentialism, collective guilt, and neo-segregation. The public decides what should be included in the state curriculum and we should not promote neoracism in the classroom.

The same needs to happen with indoctrinating kids in school with Gender Identity Ideology. Urgently.

I sat through my first "training" a week or so back; two professors from NYC. they think they're slick tho. knowing our district is conservative they repackaged it as "inequities in grading"
