I agree with you in an intellectual sense. We've known the importance of the relationship between political regime and education since Aristotle. But DeSantis isn't a philosopher; he's a politician. He is "depolicitizing" the curriculum from left-wing ideologies—as he should.

Okay, in a broad philosophical sense sure, but in practical hands on educational sense (especially in k-12), you can teach in a way that doesn’t necessarily favor a specific contested political action/ideology at the expense of others.https://www.calethstudies.org
