I am not sure what Maexism has to do with it, though. As someone who studied Marxism in the Soviet schools when I was a kid, I don't recall us studying anything related to races and critical race theory. When you confuse the 2 issues, it becomes a hot mess.

the distinction that people have been making is the new version or the twist on the rich-vs-poor version of Marxism, - the new American version he's talking about is oppressor-vs-oppressed. That's the short answer. theres a lot more that comes after that tho

Many of us who agree with your goals don’t like this framing in terms of Marxism, which has absolutely nothing to do with CRT. Indeed Marxian analysis explains the elites’ quest to divide people by identities other than class.

Critical theory is a direct and self-conscious descendant of Marxism. With critical race theory, they just replaced the dialectic of capitalist/worker (economics) with white/black (race).
