It increasingly looks like this Atlanta shooting involved a lunatic angry at WOMEN: one of his first statements was that this was non-"racial" (https://www.wsj.com/articles/atlanta-shootings-fbi-investigating-killing-of-eight-at-massage-parlors-11615989454 …). Today's "look at what this WHITE guy/BLACK guy did!!!" take on crime is not only harmful, but often useless.
This is right, and more broadly, we are failing to integrate young men into our society. We have a major cultural problem that drives alienation, pathology, and violence. This seems to be more acute among whites (although it could be a factor of population).
That also affects how young men treat young women. How do young people even have relationships anymore? Sad.
