That's the limitation of the term CRT. I mean, all of these concepts are inevitably imprecise since they are used to pick out sundry phenomena. I think ethnomarxism or something like that is useful too. But maybe not. The important things is to have a term that works.
I really like the term "ethnomarxism." That's about right. It's race consciousness instead of class consciousness. You see this emerging in the original critical theorists in the 1960s, then coming to full expression in our time.
