Strange how the once brave members of the IDW virtually all went silent on Biden and lockdowns. (With some exceptions.) Some even cheered censorship along the way. New crew of way more interesting people out there including @ConceptualJames @realchrisrufo @jackmurphylive...

The problem with the "we're the real liberals" argument is that it is divorced from the reality of political power. Historically, the Left does not tolerate "enemies to the right." The liberal-IDWs misjudged their position—and refused to enter into an alliance with the Right.

I don't know, I still see most of the originally-named members of the IDW displaying a willingness to form an alliance with the right, but I feel like some on the right have confused "entering into an alliance with the Right" with "becoming right-wing."

How do you define "doing something"? I see lots of IDW people actively pushing back against woke ideology every day.

They push back while always pretending that Trump and conservatives are the real bad guys. Meanwhile their institutions burn and they’ll still get sent to the gulag. @ConceptualJames @DrKarlynB @realchrisrufo @Cernovich @ConceptualJames and many other saw this failed strategy.

I see virtually nobody on the right unwilling to accept the disaffected liberals despite political disagreements.

The NRx people, tbh, and the growing contingent of other explicitly anti-liberal or illiberal right-wingers that Critical Theory is effectively summoning into existence. But they're still fringe and hopefully stay that way.
