No one is banishing Dr. Seuss, The publisher did this of their own choice, the titles they chose not to publish were culturally inappropriate & racist. Libraries are not required to have Drag Queen storytime, they CHOOSE to provide this programming

People are more bothered in 2021 by racism than they are by drag queens. The reason conservatives can't mount a successful counter campaign is that they can't object to that out loud because it sounds good to most normal people.

No it's just a really stupid point one you can only arrive at if you are desperate to force a narrative. Not agreeing with a stupid point does not equal not getting it.
Private entirely chooses to discontinue rarely purchased books that have material that even the author later believed was problematic. Local library hosts drag queen story time which sounds fun to me but if you don't appreciate it whatever fine. Norms shifted as they do!
