Hello, gentlemen! I would volunteer to moderate such a debate. However, I'm inclined to agree with Jason that what he means by woke is not the same as what Chris means. That's part of the trouble here, we too often glide over nuance on this site.

Jason, you actually would be interested in Chris's earlier work on poverty in America. You wouldn't be uncritical, but Chris's work is serious, heartfelt, and reflective. And just very sobering.
