The issue, too, is that, in part, the BLM riots and policing changes in major cities *caused* the increase in violence and homicides in many cities.

But I can't even get to that point yet with ppl like @ijbailey who strangely take issue with my point that all black lives matter: those killed by cops and civilians.
It’s not that complex or complicated. It’s called dishonesty.
When you make these kinds of claims, it seriously makes me question how serious you are about this issue, given that understanding the causes of crime - especially short-term spikes - is one of the most difficult endeavors imaginable. Yet you guys speak with certainty about it.
I said "in part," which is certainly true. Seattle's CHAZ is the perfect illustration: set up a police-free autonomous zone to "protect black lives," end up with a murder rate 50x that of Chicago.
