It was interesting talking to the Chinese-American parents at this school who stood up and stopped this. They didn't have any of the guilt, fear, or hesitation that many white parents have ("don't want to seem racist," etc.). They unapologetically condemned it and took action.
That's true for most either first or second generation families. It's mostly the wealthy white parents and activists that support this stuff. Most parents no matter the skin color just want their kids to grow up happy and healthy.
