Five years ago, the media launched a campaign to define conservatives as "racists and white supremacists." Five days ago, they changed the terms to "seditionists and domestic terrorists." The first is to dehumanize the opposition; the second is to justify their repression.

Youre absolutely right on this and Chloe is using very sloppy thinking. People werent trying to seize power by taking selfies in a government office building and then leaving of their own accord, FFS. Thats dangerous, absurd nonsense and needs to be strongly rebuked.

It was definitely an attempted coup. This is a semantics game. They made the same fundamental arguments as some members of blm and there is footage of folks explicitly talking about a revolution.
