I really appreciate your opinions and work but I don't fully agree with this tweet. No one is calling Lisa Murkowski or Lindsay Graham or Mitt Romney a seditionist. The people who stormed the Capitol deserve this name. How else would you call them?
I don't think sedition or coup is accurate language. The QAnon Shaman wasn't trying to overthrow the government and install himself as the new potentate. I think political riot, even political violence, is more accurate and the instigators should be held accountable for it.

But what we're seeing with the destruction of Parler, for example, is the extension of the "domestic terrorism" framework to millions of conservatives and their institutions. This is deliberate and pernicious.

I agree the censorship of Parler is outrageous. It was not Apple's or Google's place to make this call. If they really believe this app makes people violent, they should report it to the authorities.

Just because they didn't think it through and failed does not absolve them, like if you stop a clumsy burglar it doesn't make him innocent. These people stated their goal and it was to make sure a person who was not elected is president.

Sedition appears to fit as overthrow is it's action in the cause of illegal disruption /or/ overthrow of the gov. Coup is out. They weren't attempting to install Trump. They were attempting to stop (disrupt) the government from accepting "illegitimate" election results, though.
