Covid fits because, although some intervention is justified, they created exemptions for protected classes (large business, BLM protestors) while punishing outgroup classes (small business, anti-lockdown protestors). Wrote about it for CJ.

Furthermore, Covid started the cascade. Don't think we would have had any of the subsequent phenomena without the Covid lockdowns as the overall context.
