Bless your heart. Take a quick look at the top 10 world's most valuable brands & you'll see all of Apple's major competitors listed there, all three of which have app stores. The 'dependencies' that are vexing you so are what some folks call society. Don't like it? Tough.

Google and Apple have virtually 100% market share in mobile, with billions of users and a network effect ensuring their position. A coordinated duopoly isn't a free market, it's a form of monopoly power. If you can't see that, you should visit your optometrist immediately.
