Critical Race Theory will never turn into 1812 lawlessness. Four people are dead because of Christian Nationalism, not CRT. Can someone tell the SBC presidents, 1689ers, discernment blogger/Shenvi fans, etc. to fight the right fight, for once? #DCProtestspic.twitter.com/CBwqoBhRBr

I’ve got to go with Chris on this one, my friend. I don’t see how we can say that CRT/CRT-adjacent ideas didn’t motivate a good portion of the rioters this past summer (which claimed many lives).

I spent a lot of time listening to the BLM speeches ion various cities. It's textbook CRT, translated into street language. Ideologies have consequences.

Then you need to do more reading. CRT is neither new nor original. What you heard this summer was from ideas that pre-date CRT by decades. You’re trying to explain the baseball game by starting in the 7th inning.

Lol, I've done the homework, coach! CRT is new (only ~30 years old) and revived many of the ideas from the 1960s that had been discredited (Frankfurt School, Black Power, etc.). When Nikole Hannah Jones calls them the "1619 Riots," I take her seriously.

You are hung up on a semantic game, but this obscures the fact that all of these ideologies are interconnected. I use "critical race theory" as a convenient catch-all, knowing that the lineage of these ideas extends back. Whatever you want to call it, it's destructive.
