Yesterday: the conservative intelligentsia immediately condemned political violence. All of 2020: the liberal intelligentsia justified, rationalized, and even celebrated political violence—for months.

Trump, Giuliani, and Lin Wood should absolutely be held accountable for their reckless and dangerous rhetoric in the past two months—as should Kamala Harris, The Squad, and others for their own cheering on of violence last year.
But look at the media: conservative writers and policymakers immediately condemned violence; CNN, MSNBC, and liberal magazines cheered it on for months. It's a world of difference.

There is a difference between riotous thugs burning buildings and the first ever attempted coup. The standard must be different and collaborators must be punished, including the Rapist-in-Chief.

I should add that, in politics, moderating forces have to come from within each faction. The left can't moderate the right, the right can't moderate the left. So it's up to leaders to keep their own people in check. That's why I condemned what happened yesterday.

Yes. What happened yesterday deserves unequivocal condemnation. As does the randomly targeted violence that’s destroyed jobs, livelihoods, businesses, and dreams all over this country.

And the violence that liberals and the media cheered for all year long was far more violent that a mob rushing into a building. I didn't see anything on fire yesterday.

Talk radio has been fanning the flames of political violence and dehumanization of their opponents for literal decades. I don't see it at all as a world of difference. We are all responsible, conservatives and liberals alike.
