I watched it. Why was it important to watch this? To remind me that Tucker is a relentless, douchey opportunist?

Because condemning a third or more of the country - as opposed to the handful that were violent today and should be punished to the full extent of the law - to contempt and exile is not a sustainable solution.

Anyone who cannot bring themselves to condemn what happened today deserves shaming and shunning. And contrary to Tucker’s conclusions, the lesson that people should have learned from today is “don’t try to storm the US Capitol by force”

Vast majority are condemning violence - a much higher proportion than ever condemned violence this summer on the left. But wrt doubts about the election, you're not talking about some guys in wolf hats that will be in prison for a decade. You're talking millions of Americans.

I couldn’t give a shit about the “doubts” of those people. They don’t have doubts. They know. They are beyond reason, they are addicted to the propaganda that satisfies their empty lives, and the only hope is to keep outvoting them.

This is the language of dehumanization. You are what you claim to condemn.
