In 1793, the French revolutionaries changed the months in the calendar to names like Floréal, Thermidor, and Fructidor. In time, we will look back at the campaign to have "ze, zim, zir" in your email signature as equally absurd. It's signal without substance.

True! The pronouns are mostly signal, the French Revolution was, for better or worse, very substantial.

It had great substance for the thousands who were killed by the revolutionaries and the millions killed by the armies of Napoleon that came it its wake.

That's precisely what it is. And the goal isn't to change our minds. No, it is designed to mold the minds of two generations of our children. Once there, us adults won't matter. The way we defeat it is to spread awareness. Most of this toxic nonsense cannot survive in sunlight.

Progressives don't believe this crap. They get their jollies by making conservatives & non-progressives do it. It's a POWER thing.

Twitter profile pronouns. Hmm.... I had a Vietnamese friend named "Phuk". A great emperor of China was named "Yu". Hmmmm......
