That depends on what you mean by 'wokeness'. I'd probably begin by looking around the bibliographies of feminist/lgbt/ethnic studies, maybe Foucault, maybe postmodernism. There are many tributaries. What I *wouldn't* look at is Hegel's political philosophy
I mean, just look at what 'the woke' *actually say*. They go on about things like the white/male/hetero gaze , microaggressions, incommensurable subjectivities, discourses of power, etc. They don't talk about the modern state as the highest instantiation of Reason in the world
Read “Suicide of the West” by Burnham. The bitter pill to swallow for centrists is that wokeness is a direct evolution of core liberalism in the style of Eleanor Roosevelt.
The more I read, the less persuaded I am of the utility of theological/ideological reductionism (reducing contemporary ideological phenomena to older theologies and ideologies).
