It’s wild to see. We have just two very young achool age children. The remote arrangements are unworkable.
I'm in a small town outside Seattle, many of the more affluent parents are transferring to private schools (which are open), going to pods/tutors, or moving out of state. Big drop in public school enrollment.

Yeah, remote learning for anything under 7 or 8 years old is insane. It's a disaster for families who can't find alternatives or supplements. Really sad that so many public schools are still closed.

For us, we realized how fast kids can learn with focused resources. We hired our high school kid neighbor to tutor our oldest in math and he jumped two grades over the summer. Then we switched to private, which has been open all year, while the public is still closed.
