That's the real point. This removes all onus of serving and assisting your community and replaces it with a "machine" that takes on all the responsibility.

The left wants to feel good but their policies have not only failed over the last 60 years they have made the problems much worse. They will do and say anything to make those results be related to anything but themselves. Hence, the nebulous concepts of race and gender study.

"Egalitarianism" has a sterling reputation, but we have to see it for what it really is, which is an attempt to categorize the fundamental nature of a human being and then proposing that things should be equalized/flattened across that dimension. This is the entire "equity" game.

The founders understood that there must be a balance of equalities and inequalities. They optimized for *political equality,* accepting that it would lead to inequality across other dimensions. They correctly had a tragic, not utopian view of history.
