81% of sps teachers are white. Over half the students are not. African American achievement is sps is half to a third that of white students. This is something that must change.
Is the approach he describes working? Has it ever worked? It's not really novel. Dates back to the 1980's at least. So there should be some statistical evidence of its effectiveness in the places where it's been used by now.
Well schools definitely need more money for this. So much more important than teaching students reading, math, science and history.
