A friend in Moundsville just msg'd me he got a job in a distribution warehouse paying $12 an hour w/o benefits. Those gigs are really easy to find. What's really hard is finding a job paying $40k+ a year w health insurance. For that, you often have to leave everything else behind
We should be thinking about a national wage supplement or negative income tax. To make that job a $15 or $17 an hour job would be immense progress and change the direction of so many cities and towns.
