Why are prominent black public intellectuals like @thomaschattwill, @JohnRWoodJr, @JohnHMcWhorter, @GlennLoury, and @coldxman (who just made Forbes 30 under 30) all still not verified?
What gives?!

Yeah, they got caught in cancel culture because the check was perceived as an "endorsement," which led to a round of "Why is Twitter endorsing Richard Spencer!"
