I disagree. I think the great crime of CRT (besides just categorizing people by their skin color) is that it teaches people to view the world as zero sum, on the basis of skin color. That is a pretty shitty idea to plant in precocious minds.
The great crime of critical race theory is that it burnishes the social status of elites, but provides nothing for the poor. In fact, it seeks to demolish the very social institutions that provide a path out of poverty—work, family, faith—for people of all racial backgrounds.

Corporations love CRT because it atomises their workforce, undermining employee solidarity and capacity to organise. It also helps advocate for a globalist labour market (to meet all those quotas) so increasing competition between workers and reducing wages.

It also takes the focus off of economics and onto culture, protecting their bottom line.
