Agreed, there is an upper limit to the revolution, even in a progressive city like Seattle. But I'm concerned with how the threat of the revolutionaries will shift political incentives. At the moment, the politicians are following the lead of the activists.

I would be more concerned about the economic impact. There are things that can not be measured. How many people have already decided NOT to start a business in Seattle due to all of this. How many have decided not to move there. How many have decided to move away?

How many move away can be measured but how many decided not to move in can not. I have a feeling Seattle is going to be a lot different economically post-covid and so will Portland, OR.
