We're in for a shock, is my prediction. Riots won't stop until February, at which point they will be put down brutally by the new administration which doesn't have use for radicals so much anymore. People are under this weird impression that blue team is not authoritarian.

The argument may have been used by both sides, but only one side was serious about it, for the other it was a rhetorical trick. No one was worried about right wing violence with a Trump loss
