Does anyone watch the movie Network anymore? I suggest that we all should. If we do, we will see that “mad as hell” anchorman Howard Beal (Peter Finch) is not the villain. He’s the fool. Faye Dunaway’s exec is the villain. She builds up Beal, for ratings, then destroys him. Hmm
Incredible film, holds up magnificently. The whole 70s paranoid genre is great: Parallax View and Three Days of the Condor are two other gems.

By no means a great film but Winter Kills is a pretty enjoyable one from that genre. Great cast.
