We should absolutely debate the woke intellectuals into the ground. But, more than this, we should defund the public institutions they inhabit. The American working class should not be subsidizing anti-American elites.

No, and yes. They scream from the ring side that you can't beat their morals and intellect, but when you get in the ring and they don't, they say, "see my ideas are undefeated. this person said they could best me, but they can't even land a punch" -- and people fall for it.
You just have to look at all the ivy league schools & public institutions our woke politicians, activists & agitators graduated from, they all were bred by the same groupthink Marxists who hated this country & made it their life ambition to bring it down from within.
Problem is, they're not going to debate in good faith. Bullhorns, shouting over you, drowning you out so you give up and walk away, threats, and as we've seen, physical violence.

As a scientist coming up through the university system, I'm not sure what to think about this. Although many of my colleagues do lean left, our primary focus is on doing science and training the next generation of scientists. Thoughts on where publicly funded science fits in?
Our science programs are getting f'd alongside humanities programs due to decreasing state funding, although there is a higher demand for STEM degrees. Overall I'm curious what the solution is...?
