James, if your current analysis of US politics is that there is a risk poor people are going to get too much money, that our welfare state will be too generous, and that communist-style policy will reign, we are at such different points, that I don't know what to say.
Jesse, you'd be right if considering the progressive welfare policies from LBJ to Clinton. But the critical race theorists reject that vision. They explicitly oppose liberalism, equal protection, meritocracy, private property, nondiscrimination, and traditional welfare programs.
