Playing devil’s advocate here: wouldn’t you say the Asian-Americans on the West Coast are also on par with the well-off White families?
In West Coast states, Asian-American immigrants are the ones who are filing lawsuits and running ballot measures to protect the meritocracy. God bless them for it.
