True, but the constitutional amendment against a progressive state income tax is the key bulwark. It prevents WA from going full CA.
Yeah, ID income tax is –ing killer. But attacks on Article I, Section 24 of the state constitution are gaining more and more traction (can ramble on this if you like; got involved with 2A advocacy last session), I can't imagine this one is immune either
