Power projection generally comes from existing structures. Most of the IDW is very skeptical of the tendency to abuse that power, as so many have when power becomes the end goal. We need our own checks to make sure we do not succumb to this finite mindset of power games as well.

He’s also done a lot better than the classical liberal C. Young/A. Sullivan crowd who say we must wait for an agreeable champion (Read: moderate Dems) to politically fight wokeness. As if the moderate Dems are going to start policing it after 8 years—they’re captured by it.
