Great idea. The way they usually prep you to do media is to know exactly what you’ll say, and to follow that script regardless of the question. And I should clarify: in a 3-minute cable news spot, you have to pretty much just hit your points. But in a long-form interview or podcast, there is a lot of freedom to explore.

Another reason why going on radio is better than TV, and doing long-form web interviews are better still. Nothing more dull than canned anecdotes and set-pieces. Its one thing if you’re promoting your new movie, but we should have more interesting shit to say.
