Great pix. How much was it? I looked into taking the Empire Builder, but it left Seattle in the middle of the night, to PDX and then Spokane. Not what I expected. Cheers, and thanks for sharing.

My family & I took the train from LA to Chi to Boston in the early '90s. The idea was to save money & my husband doesn't like flying. I loved it. However, it wasn't really cheaper due to having to buy meals. And, once the sun goes down, all scenic entertainment is gone. Just FYI
