Yes, Latinos are now going through what the Irish and Italians went through, integrating to and changing America I use the term over Hispanic because it broadly refers to Latin America, whereas Hispanic refers to Spanish-speaking people, but Brazilians don't speak Spanish...

The problem is that America is going through something that didn't happen with Italians and Irish, et al. Half of Italians went back home and 90+% of immigrants were literate in English if they spoke a different language back home.

This is painfully cringe dialogue. Spain (and Portugal) are European [White] nations. The bulk of Hispanics are just other Europeans. There's a consequence of the waves of Mesoamericans we've also have been dulged with but that's another issue which has been talked at length
