Trump can’t take on critical race theory. For all intents and purposes, he shares its fundamental belief that life is a zero-sum power game, that it’s okay to dehumanize your enemies, and that preying on people’s fears for the sake of power is fair game.https://twitter.com/redsteeze/status/1306673583305797632 …

I like Chloe’s ideas but unfortunately she belongs to the idealists like the Weinstein brothers who would rather stick to ideals and principles rather than get things done in the real world, even when fighting with people who give no shits about principles as long as they win.

I can respect being principled. I think that once more people hear about CRT the pushback can spread to other groups. I don't think we need to stand behind Trump, let him expose the theories and principled people can run with it.

Yes that's what I see too. The question is who will challenge this and when? I don't see anyone else who has offered any meaningful pushback. The fact that CRT is now in the public discussion as a term has enormous value.

FDRs control of US was directionally moving toward dictatorship, but needed to fight Axis powers. CV may be rt that DJT accelerates the "war," which CRT has been winning for decades, BUT CFR can also be right that DJT is only force to combat/Biden wont, nor will mere arguments.
