Yes I read it, but it will stop a lot more slowly if, instead of starting the process there, they go to hearings (and that's IF the House agrees, which is doubtful). It would be another circus where people would parade before cameras playing the "are you a racist" game.

That's what you think will happen. I don't think that's as guaranteed as you do. Even with hearings though, they can't ban it privately. So people can keep doing it privately no matter what comes out of Congress.

Well, if you think the optics of Mr. "Mexican Rapists" banning anti-racism training aren't going to backfire, I don't suppose anything I say will convince you otherwise.

I think if he pushed it off because of optics, he would be exactly as contemptible and self-interested as people say he is.
