Honey, it literally outlines steps to redistribute police funds into community programs and provide civilian oversight to hold the SPD accountable. This is not an abolish the police department overnight and leave the city to Gotham’s greatest villains.

The plan is explicit that starting in 2021, they will eliminate the Seattle Police Department and replace it with a new civilian-led "Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention." When activists say they want to "abolish the police," that's literally what they mean.
