The plan is explicit that starting in 2021, they will eliminate the Seattle Police Department and replace it with a new civilian-led "Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention." When activists say they want to "abolish the police," that's literally what they mean.

The plan does not say that. Please point out where it says that. The plan laid out by the documents on your website would create a new department in addition to the existing Police Department. Assuming this is in good faith, please either correct or support your statements.

Stop lying. It literally does not explicitly state that. It does explicitly state that they will create a new dept of community safety, and that some of the funds for this will be taken from the SPD. There will still be a Seattle police force. Again, stop lying.
