Of course, not suggestion causation at all. I think masks are probably smart (and wear one myself), but it's interesting that there isn't simple conclusive evidence for "masks work."

Yeah, think that's fair. I guess low community transmission can create two polar results i.e. continual universal mask wearing to control (HK) or not needing to wear one at all (Scandinavia). Might not last though? Australia has had recent flare up. UK mask wearing increasing

There's no conclusive evidence, but within the sample size we have there is a correlation. There's also something close to a consensus amongst experts that they help to SOME degree. How MUCH they actually help is much more debatable.
