time for another optimism thread 1) city budgets are about to go to shit. this will make random left wing city councils less utopian and less eager to destroy the world to save it 2) i think corona deaths are going to stay relatively stable at their current plateau, not jump up.

3) the crime surge arriving so quickly is making people nervous and reducing pressure to totally destroy law enforcement 4) a mostly back to normal fall (schools open but weird schedules or weird procedures, most but not all things open) will feel much better than you might think
