The center-left is in control of the votes; the hard-left is in control of the streets. Both can be true—and significant—simultaneously.

I'm10 miles from DC, have not been there much lately because COVID. 3 weeks ago we went to the neighborhood near the ballpark, lots of people strolling, outdoor dining. No sign of any protests,violent or otherwise. Which streets in DC do you think the hard left controls?
