Great articulation of a cultural gap here in America. Is this a new thing though? Seems there’s always been a urban rural gap, is the current one bigger or novel in some way?
It's always been there, since the beginning. But I think mass media, high-tech communications, and the social dominance of the cities over the past decade has rendered the rural nearly invisible.
