Balaji: The question of frontiers is really important & under appreciated. We live in the first period in history where there effectively isn’t a physical frontier. The impact is real but poorly understood. At a minimum it increases social conflict as things are seen as zero sum.

Still lots of land in the United States, lots of open spaces. The frontier is now within. It's time to build new cities and new structures of decentralized rule.
